Recreation and activities have been an integral part of Oaks of Hebron since the very beginning. Our founder, Steve Kranz, had a deep love for the outdoors and adventure. Not long after Oaks of Hebron was established, he began organizing trips for participants to enjoy nature, camping, and resort destinations.

Today, recreation remains a vital part of our programs. We actively engage with our local community through monthly outings and events, and each year we plan both short and extended overnight trips.

Sonoma County and the surrounding areas offer so many wonderful opportunities and we love taking our clients to experience them! Whether it’s a day at the ocean, exploring museums, going bowling, watching a movie, visiting the zoo or Alcatraz, or cheering on the Giants at a baseball game, we’re always looking for ways to have fun together.

Our overnight trips are among the most anticipated events of the year. These adventures often take our participants to places they might never have the chance to visit otherwise, whether due to financial limitations or the need for staff support. We are honored to help make these dreams possible, with past destinations including Lake Tahoe, Disneyland, the Grand Canyon, San Diego, Branson, Missouri, cruises, and more. One of the greatest joys is hearing the excitement and gratitude from participants who are finally visiting a place they once thought was out of reach.
