Meet The Artist

Lisa attended the Academy of Art University, where she earned her Associate’s degree in Jewelry and Metalwork. After graduating, she joined a fiber arts club to improve her knitting skills. One day, she sat next to a woman who was crocheting. Lisa mentioned that she had always wanted to learn how to crochet. The woman smiled, picked up a hook and some yarn, and began showing her how.

When the pandemic hit and she had to isolate, Lisa found comfort and creativity in making art. Lisa began dedicating more time to her artistic passions—creating jewelry, crocheting, and painting with both acrylics and watercolors.

Lisa believes her creativity is something she inherited from her grandmother. Lisa used to visit her often, and she was always knitting, crocheting and sewing. Her creative spirit continues to inspire and live on in her.

Lisa has handcrafted jewelry for sale at Growing Together Nursery and participates in Oaks of Hebron ‘s Tailored Day Services.
